ECORES WIND Showcases Circular Solutions in Brussels

ECORES WIND was featured at the RECREATE Final Conference, Made in the EU: Creating Markets for Circular Composites, held on 23 April 2026 in Brussels and online. The event brought together key stakeholders from across industry, research, policy and investment to explore how circular solutions for composites can move from innovation to real market uptake.

During the programme, Oscar Salas, GAIKER, presented the ECORES WIND project as part of the technology pitching sessions, highlighting its approach to reuse and recycling of wind turbine components. The presentation focused on the development of innovative circular resins and adhesives, enabling more efficient disassembly, recovery and revalorisation of complex composite structures.

ECORES WIND addresses one of the key challenges of the renewable energy sector: managing the value chain of wind turbine components while maintaining high material performance and value. By developing solutions that support circular design and processing, the project contributes to extending the lifecycle of composite materials and reducing environmental impact at their end-of-life.

The conference provided an excellent platform to present early results and ambitions of ECORES WIND to a broad audience of industry representatives, potential early adopters and investors, as well as policy makers, opening the door for future collaboration and market-oriented development.
