Our partner ICTP-CSIC is co-organising SUSMATx 2026, an international conference dedicated to sustainable matrices for structural composites, to be held on 3–4 September 2026 at the CSIC headquarters in Madrid, Spain.
The conference brings together leading researchers, innovators, and industry experts to accelerate advances in eco-friendly composite materials, covering bio-based thermosets, vitrimers, covalent adaptive networks, depolymerizable polymers, and high-performance thermoplastics, topics that align closely with ECORES WIND’s focus on next-generation circular resin systems. Keynote speakers include Veronique Michaud (EPFL), Lars Berglund (KTH and Linkoping University), and Alexander Bismarck (University of Vienna).
The conference is chaired by Raquel Verdejo (ICTP-CSIC), Daniel Sánchez Rodríguez (University of Girona), Sara Keiko Murase Fernández (Eurecat), and Alice Mija (Université Côte d’Azur).
